The DHUB originated in Barcelona, a city whose historical links to the design world and its excellent pool of schools, consumers, industries and professionals have given it an enormous potential to become a great centre of international production.

Disseny Hub Barcelona is housed in two temporary venues: DHUB Montcada (c. de Montcada, 12), which hosts temporary exhibitions and is home to the Study Gallery and Documentation Centre, and DHUB Pedralbes (av. Diagonal, 686), which showcases the permanent exhibitions of the Museu de les Arts Decoratives, the Museu Tèxtil i d’Indumentària, and the Gabinet de les Arts Gràfiques collection.
