The thrilling world of gypsy dance

The performances are held in two landmark buildings: the Teatro Poliorama, in the heart of Barcelona’s Rambla, which is housed in an art-nouveau building it shares with the Royal Academy of Arts and Sciences; and the Palau de la Música Catalana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site designed by the famous Catalan architect Domènech i Montaner.

The show brings us the thrilling world of gypsy dance in a combination of sensations, rhythms and movements.
The programme takes us on a journey through the different “palos”, or rhythms, including the Fandango, Seguidilla, Alegría, Bujería, Tarantos and Guajira, which will reveal the intense passion of the gypsy people throughout the ages.
The show features performers from the new generation of Catalan flamenco dancers and singers who have burst on to the Spanish flamenco scene to offer the perfect union between heart, music, spirit and dance.
